Our take

The city park after midnight holds a stillness that feels heavier than the silence itself. A narrow dirt path cuts through rows of old trees, and the air carries the sharp snap of rosemary and lavender crushed underfoot. Bright bergamot and lemon sit on top of the breeze, clean and brisk against the cool shadows. Basil and juniper rise from the damp earth nearby, their green edges softened by the resinous bite of cardamom and the dry needle scent of pine. The blend feels deliberate, each plant note layered over the next without crowding the space.

Further down the path, the ground gives way to something darker. Patchouli and moss cling to the soil, rich and damp, while leather creeps in like a worn jacket left on a wooden bench. Amber adds a low, golden warmth that never becomes sweet, resting beside the tall, dry presence of cedar and fir. The scent sits in the air as a collection of textures, rough bark and smooth hide pressed together under a canopy of branches.

It is a composition built from the forest floor and the herbs growing along the edge of the trail, aromatic and woody in equal measure. The spices stay fresh rather than hot, letting the citrus and greenery lead the way into the deeper base. Cedar and fir hold their ground as the leather and moss spread through the scene, creating a space that feels entirely composed of the natural world at this hour, the entire atmosphere shaped by these exact notes mingling near the trees.
