The overall character is a lavish, slightly dusty vintage brooch pinned to a leather jacket. It is sweet and heavy, leaning synthetic in its honeyed amber smoothness, but undeniably niche in its refusal to apologize. The longevity is impressive, clinging well past eight hours, though the sillage sits closer to the skin after the first two, which might frustrate those who want to announce arrival three rooms ahead.
