Around the collar of a heavy coat, Laius begins with a bright flash of mandarin orange that cuts through the crisp air, quickly joined by the resinous heat of saffron and the dry green pinch of thyme. The citrus does not stay sharp for long. Jasmine and rose rise from the heart, their floral softness deepened by the powdery root of orris and the golden weight of labdanum.
