Mark Buxton composed Nameless. The opening brings lavender and mandarin orange together with cardamom. Orange blossom adds a bright lift before the spices arrive.
Cinnamon and cloves warm the air around the wearer. Coffee sits in the heart, dark and slightly bitter. Jasmine offers a soft floral contrast to the heat of the spices.
Cedar and guaiac wood give the base a dry, resinous texture. Benzoin and amber add a golden sweetness that never becomes heavy. French labdanum and patchouli linger on the fabric of a coat. The scent stays present through an evening out without overwhelming the room.
This fragrance suits someone walking home under streetlights in cool air. It fits a dinner where the conversation runs late.
