Our take

Terroni starts with raspberry, bright and a little sharp, which feels like a trick given everything that follows: birch, amber, and benzoin move in fast, smoky and resinous, burying the fruit until only a ghost of sweetness remains underneath the wood. Guaiac wood, vetiver, cedar, and moss build a dense, earthy base, and patchouli, tonka, and vanilla soften the bitterness with real warmth. Musk sits somewhere in the middle of all that density, less a note than a binding agent holding the smoke and wood together.

This reaches other people before you have even finished putting on a coat, built to be loud on purpose rather than by accident. Someone who wants a raspberry note as the main event should look elsewhere, since it disappears fast into the smoke and wood.

Once it settles, it shows no sign of fading, holding its smoky, resinous character on skin with real stubbornness. Winter is its true season, when the earthy density feels appropriate against cold air, and the fragrance suits evening plans best, feeling out of place under bright daylight.

Terroni fully commits to being loud, dense, and a little dangerous, and it never once apologizes for that.
