Garden Edition
Fragrance notes
Character
Garden Edition begins with a slight synthetic edge that some will notice immediately on application. The raspberry and tangerine arrive loudly, and the pink pepper adds a sharp prickle that can feel a bit thin rather than complex. For those who prefer a completely natural smelling citrus, this opening may disappoint before the fragrance has a chance to settle.
The heart offers a generous bouquet of peony, rose, jasmine, and wisteria. It feels airy and bright, sitting close to the skin in a way that suggests a sunny garden path rather than a formal event. There is a distinct freshness here that keeps the florals from becoming heavy, making the scent feel appropriate for a morning walk under clear skies.
Heliotrope and vanilla bring a soft powderiness to the base, supported by sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli. The musk ties these elements together, creating a clean finish that avoids the sticky quality found in many fruity floral releases. It is a sweet profile, but the woody accords keep it grounded and mature rather than juvenile.
Composed by Fabrice Pellegrin, this Tous release captures the feeling of sunlight reflecting off a white stone patio surrounded by blooming hedges.
