Cardamom adds a cool, green edge to the citrus, keeping the entrance sharp rather than sweet. Sage enters early, herbal and slightly dusty, steering the blend away from a simple kitchen spice rack. Incense arrives with a dry, resinous smoke that settles quickly into the skin.
Peru balsam and guaiac wood create a thick, amber warmth that feels heavy and resinous. Haitian vetiver brings an earthy root tone, while patchouli adds a dark, damp depth. Oud lends a medicinal woodiness that pairs with the ambroxan to give the base a modern, synthetic glow.
