Club de Nuit Sillage
Fragrance notes
Character
Lemon, lime and black currant crowd the opening of Club de Nuit Sillage, tart and a little jammy, with ginger adding a warm spike underneath. It carries well, holding its shape long after the top notes fade, and the sillage lands at a workable medium, something anyone close enough would catch. Violet leaf and rose move in through the heart, giving it an unexpected powdery-floral turn for what reads mostly as a citrus aromatic on paper. Black currant brings a faint jammy sourness that keeps threading through even once the citrus itself settles down.
Iris deepens that powderiness further, and jasmine adds a touch of warmth alongside the florals. Ambroxan, musk and sandalwood close things out with a clean, ambery woodiness, and the fruity, powdery heart gives it more personality than a plain citrus-woody base alone.
Cedar shows up late and briefly, more texture than scent by that point, folded into the ambroxan's clean hum.
It's an easy, all-purpose fragrance, fine for daytime errands and casual wear, without needing a special occasion to justify it. It doesn't try to be complicated, and it wears equally well from a desk job to a weekend outing, a fragrance to reach for without much thought.
