Donna Eau de Toilette
Fragrance notes
Character
Trussardi Donna opens with a bright, almost candied citrus burst, yuzu and citron tangled with a dewy melon that feels less like fruit and more like a glass of sparkling water on a sunlit terrace. The heart is where this EDT earns its Oriental Floral label: jasmine tea steams gently beside a creamy orange blossom, while lotus adds a clean, aquatic shimmer that keeps everything from tipping into syrupy territory. But the base reveals the quiet tension. Vanilla and sandalwood soften into a warm, powdery skin scent, yet cedar and patchouli barely register, leaving the drydown feeling like a promise that fades mid-sentence.
The overall character is a polished mainstream floral with a synthetic sheen, pleasant but shallow. It wears like a hotel lobby bouquet, pretty and inoffensive, but the numbers don’t lie: longevity barely breaks three hours, and sillage is a whisper at best. That makes it a morning spritz for spring or summer, perfect for brunch or a casual office day when you want a gentle aura, not a statement. Suits someone who loves clean, sweet florals without complexity. Skip it if you crave depth, longevity, or a fragrance that leaves a trail. Nathalie Lorson gave us a competent floral that evaporates before it can bloom, a fleeting fragrance for fleeting moments.
