Our take

Fire opens with a sharp bite of pepper and nutmeg, brightened by the clean lift of bergamot and grapefruit. The spices feel dry and immediate, while the citrus keeps the entrance from feeling heavy. This combination creates a brisk, invigorating start that suits a crisp morning walk through bare trees and cold air.

The heart introduces rose and jasmine alongside incense and saffron. Osmanthus and tuberose add a soft, slightly fruity floral quality, while cardamom bridges the top and middle with its green warmth. The flowers never dominate, as the incense and spice hold them in a structured, aromatic frame that feels composed and deliberate.

The base rests on amber and sandalwood, supported by leather, teak wood, oud, patchouli, vetiver, and musk. The wood is dark and resinous, the leather smooth, the amber rounded by earthy patchouli and dry vetiver. The result is a warm, smoky, powdery finish that wraps the wearer in a thick wool coat while the sun stays low and the air bites.
