This density carries through the heart, where the violet and rose sit close to the skin in a dense, powdery cloud. The cyclamen and lily-of-the-valley provide a faint fresh thread, but they cannot cut through the sheer volume of the floral bouquet. It is a scent that feels packed with material, sometimes to the point where the individual petals blur together rather than standing apart.
The base reinforces this heavy character. White musk and sandalwood meet benzoin, styrax, and vanilla to create a resinous, sweet foundation. Civet and labdanum add a slightly animalic, deep edge to the mix, while cashmeran rounds out the woody facets. The overall impression is musky and powdery, leaning into a vintage style of femininity. It feels substantial and rich, suited for a wardrobe that embraces traditional floral compositions with a strong, sweet drydown.
The formulation suffers from a lack of balance. The fruit notes in the opening feel cloying rather than bright, and the transition into the heart lacks a clear path. The aquatic accord listed among the notes is barely perceptible beneath the thick layers of rose and violet. The scent remains a dense, powdery floral that can feel overwhelming. It is a challenging wear for those who prefer a light, airy touch, as the composition stays firmly in its deep, sweet lane.
