Ville-Marie opens with a bright spray of bergamot that carries the slight metallic lift of aldehydes. The fig adds a soft, milky fruitiness that rounds out the sharp edges of the citrus without turning the start fully sweet. The heart introduces pepper and sage alongside a floral blend of rose, jasmine, palmarosa, and lotus. The spices give a clean, dry bite that keeps the flowers from feeling heavy or romantic. Sage adds an herbal green touch that leads the blend toward the base rather than letting the florals dominate the middle stage.
The drydown is the longest part of the composition. Incense and labdanum create a resinous, balsamic warmth that sits close to the skin.
