Sabha
Fragrance notes
Character
Sabha opens with a bright spray of mandarin orange that cuts through the cool air outside a heated market. The citrus is immediate and sharp, joined by the clean, medicinal edge of cypress and the soft purple roundness of lavender. Neroli adds a bitter floral lift that keeps the opening from leaning too heavily into fruit. Palisander rosewood provides a dry, dusty woodiness that grounds the initial spray before the heart notes arrive.
Melon and water notes create a brief, unexpected freshness in the center, a cool contrast to the spicy geranium and the creamy texture of ylang-ylang. Lily-of-the-valley offers a crisp, dewy floral touch that feels clean rather than overwhelming. This middle phase is where the fragrance balances its freshness against a growing warmth, preparing the wearer for the heavy base without losing its aromatic character.
Oud and sandalwood form a dense, resinous foundation that feels rich against the skin. Tobacco and leather add a dark, smoky dryness, while tolu balsam contributes a smooth, sweet stickiness that ties the woods together. The overall impression is a dense cloud of scent surrounding a person walking through a snowy street, the warm steam of balsam and tobacco visible against the cold air.
