The True Bold
Fragrance notes
Character
The door swings open and a rush of cinnamon and saffron hits first, bright and dry, followed closely by the resinous curl of incense and a dusting of nutmeg. Oud enters with a dark, polished weight, while green apple and white pear add a crisp, juicy lift that keeps the spices from feeling too heavy. As the minutes pass, patchouli spreads a damp, earthy blanket across the skin, softened by the clean, slightly indolic breath of jasmine. The air grows thick with tobacco, its leafy richness wrapped around a generous pour of Madagascar vanilla and golden amber. Guaiac wood and sandalwood provide a sturdy, smoky timber beneath the sweetness, while Haitian vetiver adds a damp, rooty edge that stops the vanilla from becoming flat. White musk lingers in the background, blurring the sharper edges into a smooth, balsamic haze. The room feels wrapped in a warm, spicy glow, the kind of atmosphere that belongs to a space lit by a low fire and cooled by a sharp breeze through the window. Every breath reveals another layer of the amber and tobacco.
