Al Shafa
Fragrance notes
Character
Al Shafa opens with a cool, powdery violet that sits beside a bright grapefruit lift. Cardamom and saffron add a warm, aromatic edge that keeps the start from feeling too soft. Rose is present but stays in the background, letting the violet lead while mint provides a brief, clean freshness.
The heart brings white flowers and incense together. The flowers keep the floral accord smooth and slightly sweet, while the incense adds a dry, resinous texture. Artemisia gives a green, slightly bitter touch that balances the sweetness of the amber oil waiting in the base.
Cashmere wood and sandalwood form a creamy, polished foundation. Two oud varieties add a deep, resinous weight, supported by patchouli and Haitian vetiver. The result is a warm, woody scent with a powdery violet veil, suited to a dimly lit room where amber light catches polished wood and silk.
