The heart brings coffee and tobacco forward, dark and bitter, with a small lift from raspberry and violet that keeps the blend from feeling flat. Cinnamon and resins add a warm, sticky weight. It is a thick, resinous composition that feels expensive and a bit unruly, like a piece of furniture made from dark wood and amber resin.
The base settles into guaiac wood, oud, and incense, supported by tonka bean, vanilla, and gurjan balsam. The result is balsamic and powdery, with musk and cedar rounding out the drydown. It suits a setting where the air is cool and the light is low, surrounded by wool coats and steaming mugs. The cannabis note is prominent and can feel sharp against the sweet tonka and vanilla, creating a friction that some will love and others will find abrasive.
