Our take

Climat opens with a bright, almost brittle burst of bergamot and peach, but it’s the narcissus and violet that quickly take over, pushing a dewy, green-smoke impression. The heart blooms into aldehydes and tuberose, yet rather than going full white-floral bomb, a rosemary thread keeps things sharp, almost herbal. Then the base settles in with civet and a very animalic musk, sandalwood and vetiver grounding the sweetness into something dark and velvety. This is a perfume that wears like a vintage silk scarf found in an old trunk — crisp at first touch, then unexpectedly furred with dust and warmth. It feels natural in its floralcy but deliberately synthetic in the aldehydic shimmer, which gives it a curious pulled-between-two-eras character: part 1960s propriety, part rebellious undercurrent.

The longevity holds steady at around four hours before fading to a powdery skin scent, and the sillage is modest, never shouting from across the room. This makes it an intimate accessory for a spring afternoon or a cool fall twilight — suited to someone who enjoys a fragrance that whispers rather than demands. It reads as mature without being dowdy, but the heavy civet and musky base will feel confrontational to those who prefer clean, modern florals. If you love the glint of aldehydes but also want a rug of animal warmth to walk on, Climat delivers. If you’re after a fresh green spritz, skip it. It’s a perfume that asks you to come closer, and that’s exactly its quiet genius.
