Our take

The citrus blend leans sharp and thin, with the bergamot and grapefruit rushing forward so quickly that the basil and clary sage never get a chance to ground them. It feels assembled for speed rather than depth, and the opening lacks the roundness that would make it feel complete.

Sunlight hits the terrace table where a morning coffee cools. Lemon and mandarin orange brighten the air around the cup, while rosemary and a pinch of pepper sit in the background. Lavender drifts through the space without dominating it, and the violet adds a soft touch that keeps the herbs from feeling dry.

Cardamom and orris give the air a gentle texture as the patchouli and vetiver begin to show. Amber and vanilla warm the edges just enough to keep the scent from feeling purely herbal, while musk holds the whole composition near the skin where it stays comfortably present without extending outward.

The rose note never fully commits, hovering in a way that leaves the heart feeling undecided between fresh and floral. That hesitation keeps the fragrance from achieving a clear identity, and it remains the one element that prevents the blend from feeling entirely resolved.
