Night Secret
Fragrance notes
Character
Night Secret opens with a sharp citrus mix where pomelo and kaffir lime lead, supported by coriander and basil that add a green, slightly herbal edge. The brightness stays present as the scent develops, moving into a heart where pink pepper and juniper berries introduce a dry, fresh spicy character. Tuberose and peony soften the sharper elements without turning the blend floral in a heavy way. Cedar and cypriol give the middle a woody structure that keeps the fruit and spice from feeling scattered. Black currant and apple add a mild sweetness that sits underneath the spice rather than sitting on top of it.
The base brings amber, tonka bean, and heliotrope together with leather and benzoin. The leather is smooth and not aggressive, pairing with the amber to create a warm, slightly powdery finish. The vanilla accord remains subtle and does not dominate the drydown. The composition tries to balance too many directions at once. The citrus, the spice, the fruit, the wood, and the amber all compete for attention, so no single element feels fully resolved. The result is a fragrance that shifts between several identities without settling clearly into one.
