Uomini Infinite
Fragrance notes
Character
Uomini Infinite opens with a citrusy spark of lemon, bergamot, and pineapple that quickly collides with a sharp, almost cold metallic note, like a coin dropped onto a marble floor. The cardamom adds a subtle warmth, but this isn't a bright, sun-drenched opening. It’s brisk and synthetic in the best way, a calculated jolt before the leather and lavender take over. The jasmine in the heart is barely there, just enough to soften the leather’s rough edges, but the lavender keeps things aromatic and clean. Then comes the dry down: a dense, earthy base of vetiver, oakmoss, patchouli, and a touch of vanilla that smooths out the sharpness without turning sweet. The overall effect is like a polished steel briefcase sitting in a cedar-lined closet: professional, slightly cold, but grounded in warm wood. This fragrance is undeniably masculine and leans heavily into woody-spicy territory, but it’s also surprisingly versatile. The sillage is tame, a quiet companion rather than a booming announcement, and longevity sits around three to four hours before fading to a soft musk and sandalwood skin scent. That’s the main weakness: it asks for reapplication, especially if you want the metallic leather to linger. Best suited for someone who wants a confident, office-friendly scent that doesn't shout, ideal for fall and winter days or early evenings. Skip it if you crave projection, sweetness, or anything floral-forward. Does it reinvent the wheel? No. But it’s a well-executed, affordable wear for the guy who likes his fragrances crisp, woody, and a little cold.
