Forbidden 4
Fragrance notes
Character
Forbidden 4 brings together jasmine, tuberose, may rose and ylang-ylang with a heavy layer of oud, benzoin, vanilla and resins. Cloves, cinnamon, saffron and heliotrope add a warm, powdered spice that sits close to the skin. Sandalwood, cashmere wood, birch, fir, oakmoss, grass, violet, mandarin orange, labdanum and musk fill out the rest of the blend without any clear order to follow.
The white floral accord leads, supported by amber, balsamic and woody tones that give the perfume a thick, resinous body. The vanilla and benzoin soften the sharper edges of the oud and the birch, while the saffron and cloves keep the spice from turning fully sweet. Tuberose remains prominent throughout, giving the composition a bold, creamy floral weight.
The overall feel is dense and slightly powdery, with a natural resin quality that leans more toward niche than mass market. It moves between floral, spicy and woody without settling into a single clear direction. The mix of oud, oakmoss and fir adds a darker, forest-like touch that keeps the brighter florals from taking over completely.
This is a strong choice for a cold evening indoors, when the air is crisp and a heavy, resinous floral feels appropriate. Wear it when you want something warm, spicy and deeply floral that matches a quiet, low-light setting.
