Fragrance notes
Character
Fragrance World Pride opens with a sharp, herbal citrus blast. Grapefruit, lemon, and bergamot meet galbanum and thyme, creating a green and bitter edge that feels brisk rather than juicy. Artemisia adds a slightly medicinal touch that keeps the start from leaning into a standard fresh opening.
The heart shifts toward a dark floral mix. Jasmine and rose sit beside black currant and apple, but the fruit stays subdued under pink pepper and lily-of-the-valley. This stage feels dense and slightly indolic, with the flowers taking on a heavy, almost murky character as the spices linger.
Base notes pull the scent into a warm, animalic finish. Leather and amber lead, supported by benzoin, labdanum, vetiver, cedar, and vanilla. The result is smoky and resinous, with the leather rubbing against the sweet resins in a way that feels rugged. The synthetic edge in the florals can become harsh and distracting.
