Our take

Queenie opens with bright bergamot, lemon, and a sharp green lift from galbanum. The citrus is fresh and immediate, giving way to a large heart built around orange blossom, tuberose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. Blue lilies and violet add a cool, slightly powdery edge, while rose sits quietly in the background. Cloves bring a dry, warm spice that keeps the white florals from feeling heavy, and a touch of honey smooths the transition without making the fragrance sticky.

The base rests on sandalwood and cedar, supported by tonka bean, oakmoss, and musk. The wood is creamy rather than dry, and the moss adds a faint earthy bitterness that balances the sweeter notes above. Throughout the wear, the profile stays aromatic and green, moving between floral brightness and a soft, powdery finish. It feels composed for a sunny morning outdoors or a bright room filled with daylight, where the citrus and fresh flowers can breathe.

The heart is crowded. With nine notes fighting for space, individual flowers rarely stand out clearly, and the mix sometimes blurs into a generic white floral sweetness. The cloves and honey help, but the composition does not always feel focused. It suits someone who enjoys a lush, multi-flower bouquet and does not need every ingredient to read distinctly.
