Yuzu and lime add a clean snap that keeps the entrance from feeling too dense. Neroli brings a soft floral touch that floats above the drink, and calone gives it a faint watery sheen. The opening moves quickly between boozy warmth and crisp green air, never settling in one place for long.
Cinnamon and saffron take over with a dusty heat, joined by nutmeg and caraway that twist the spices into something dry and slightly bitter. Violet and lily-of-the-valley try to soften the heart, but the blue lotus and reseda keep it leaning toward an old-fashioned powder. The base gathers amber, sandalwood, and patchouli under a thick tobacco leaf, with Cambodian oud and vetiver adding a deep, earthy smoke. Musk and ambergris wrap the woods in a smooth, lingering skin. The blend feels rich and masculine, but the spicy powder can read as dated and heavy-handed for modern tastes.
