Upscape
Fragrance notes
Character
Upscape opens with a bright, juicy rush of apple, bergamot, orange, and grapefruit that feels crisp and immediate. Neroli and cucumber add a cool, watery edge to the fruit, while black currant and piña colada bring a sweet, tropical slant that keeps the start from leaning too sharp. The transition moves into a soft floral heart where cyclamen, jasmine, orange blossom, violet, lily-of-the-valley, and freesia create a clean, slightly dewy bouquet. None of the flowers dominate. They sit together in a smooth blend that reads more polished than natural, with a faint soapy finish that keeps the sweetness in check.
The base turns the fragrance warmer and heavier. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber, and coconut wrap the florals in a creamy, powdery layer, while patchouli, moss, vetiver, cedar, and sandalwood add a dry, woody foundation that prevents the sweetness from feeling flat. Iris smooths the edges of the earthier notes. The overall impression is a fruity floral that settles into a woody vanilla with a powdery finish, suited to a bright, clear morning when the air feels cool but the sun is fully out. The blend sometimes feels crowded, with too many notes competing at once, so the composition lacks a clear focal point.
