Virtus
Fragrance notes
Character
Virtus opens with a bright mix of citrus and white flowers. Bergamot and lemon bring a sharp lift, while neroli and jasmine sambac add a creamy, slightly indolic floral layer. Fig, peach, raspberry, and coconut follow close behind, giving the start a juicy, sun-warmed quality that feels immediate and cheerful. Hyacinth adds a crisp green edge that keeps the fruits from leaning fully into candy.
The heart quickly shifts toward resin and spice. Pine tree and galbanum deepen the green tone, while pink pepper and ginger provide a steady prickle. Incense and cloves bring a dry, smoky warmth that sits against the cooler lavender and rosemary. Davana and orris soften the sharper edges with a faint herbal sweetness, and tonka bean begins the slow turn toward the base. The composition moves between cool greenery and heated spice without settling on one side for long.
Patchouli and vetiver give the drydown an earthy, slightly bitter foundation. Cedar and amber smooth that roughness into something warmer, while vanilla and musk wrap the whole structure in a gentle, lingering softness. The citrus and fruit from the opening never fully disappear, but they recede into the background as the woods and resins take over. Wearing it feels like walking through a garden where the air is cool but the sunlight still hits your shoulders, with green leaves and dried spices hanging in the air around you as the scent continues to shift across the skin
