Kaprīze (Каприз)
Fragrance notes
Character
Kaprīze opens with a bright citrus lift from lemon that sits beside the clean, dewy freshness of lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom. Tuberose adds a creamy weight to the top, so the entrance feels both sparkling and slightly thick. The white floral accord is immediate and dominant, giving the fragrance a classic, traditional character that feels rooted in the 1990s style of oriental florals.
The heart expands into a dense bouquet of jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang, supported by the green, slightly sharp edge of hyacinth and the soft, almond-like warmth of heliotrope. Black currant introduces a dark, fruity sweetness that pulls the flowers away from a purely soapy impression, while mimosa adds a pollen-heavy, yellow floral texture. The composition stays powdery throughout this stage, with the floral notes blending into a cohesive, heavy bloom rather than standing out individually.
Sandalwood and cedar provide a dry, woody backbone in the base, grounding the abundant florals with a smooth, pale wood character. White musk amplifies the powdery feeling, wrapping the deeper notes in a soft haze. Vanilla brings a steady, rounded sweetness that balances the green sharpness of patchouli, which adds an earthy, slightly dark finish. The overall impression is a sweet, woody, and heavily floral scent built on a white floral and vanilla accord.
