Snow
Fragrance notes
Character
Snow by Datura Perfumes opens with a loud rush of mandarin orange, bitter orange, and grapefruit. Plum, pineapple, cherry, and strawberry sit beside them, adding a juicy depth to the bright citrus. Cardamom and ginger bring a dry heat that keeps the fruit from feeling flat. Lemon and lime sharpen the edges, while coconut adds a soft, creamy roundness. Black currant and raspberry provide a tart counterpoint that lifts the entire opening.
The heart holds cashmere wood, sandalwood, and cedar. Violet leaf and cyclamen keep the center airy, and lotus adds a clean, aquatic touch. Rose and jasmine sit quietly in the background, supported by iris and saffron. Fir and spicy notes introduce a green, resinous character that balances the vanilla. The woods here feel polished rather than rough, and the flowers never dominate the stage.
Patchouli, vetiver, and oud form a dark, earthy base. Amber and musk wrap the woods in warmth, while immortelle contributes a honeyed, herbal tone. Vanilla smooths the edges without turning the fragrance sugary. Precious woods give the drydown a refined, lasting structure. The scent settles into a damp forest path where fallen needles mix with crushed citrus peels on sun-warmed stone.
