Forbidden 5
Fragrance notes
Character
Forbidden 5 presents a dense collection of notes that refuse to sit quietly. Aldehydes and galbanum bring a sharp, green edge to the surface. Leather and birch add a dark, slightly smoky texture. Peach, apple, and black currant provide a juicy contrast to the drier elements like oakmoss and vetiver.
The blend feels busy. Nutmeg, cloves, cumin, and anise create a warm spicy layer that sits heavily alongside the white florals. Jasmine, tuberose, and may rose push through the denser woods. Frankincense, benzoin, and labdanum give the resinous side a sticky feel.
Heliotrope and tonka bean soften the sharper citrus from grapefruit, bergamot, and orange. Petitgrain and violet add a powdery touch to the mix. Cedar and guaiac wood ground the fruit. Musk lingers in the background of the aromatic profile.
The overall impression is a crowded market stall where a leatherworker shares space with a spice merchant and a florist, all under a single roof.
