Fragrance notes
Character
The air is cool enough that breath fogs near a row of lit windows, and someone is standing just outside the glow with cumin and lemon bright on the skin. Orange and lime sharpen the opening, while tarragon adds a green, slightly bitter edge that keeps the citrus from feeling clean. It is a vivid, slightly unsettling start that draws attention before the florals arrive.
Ylang-ylang and peach soften the sharpness, with tuberose and rose lending weight as jasmine and violet drift through. Heliotrope and black currant add a powdery, slightly fruity haze, and the mood shifts from bright to dense. The base gathers civet and oakmoss, musk and leather, labdanum and sandalwood, with guaiac wood, patchouli, styrax, peru balsam, benzoin, vetiver, ambrette, cedar and vanilla settling into a warm, mossy, animalic bed.
Nutmeg and cloves prick the surface of that dark foundation, and the whole scene feels woodsy, musky, earthy, amber, fresh spicy, mossy, citrus, warm spicy and powdery at once. It is a fragrance that lives in that narrow space between damp ground and heated air, where every breath carries something both refined and wild. The moment holds, fixed in place, carried by vanilla.
