Mexican Vanilla
Fragrance notes
Character
Mexican Vanilla buries its flaws under a mountain of ingredients. The list reads like a pantry raid that never stopped, and the result is a composition that sometimes struggles to let any single element breathe. Bitter almond and black licorice sit next to coconut and pineapple, creating a friction that can feel cluttered rather than complex.
Sergey Karov composed a scent that feels like walking into a dimly lit lounge where the air is thick with tobacco leaf and dark chocolate. The honey and beeswax give it a golden, sticky texture that pairs with the mahogany and vetiver in the base. It is a sweet, woody, and warm spicy experience that leans heavily into its gourmand side without apology.
Cognac and bourbon vanilla lead the charge, supported by a floral heart of tiare flower and gardenia that adds a creamy softness. The amber and tonka bean linger in the background, creating a rich, nutty warmth. It is the olfactory equivalent of a heavy velvet curtain drawn across a room to shut out the rest of the world.
