Our take

Pisello Parfum presents Akira as a composition that refuses to choose between the jungle and the temple. The opening arrives with a heavy tropical weight, where mango, pineapple, and jackfruit press against the sharp, medicinal edge of civet and ambergris. It is a strange collision of sticky fruit juices and unwashed skin that feels intentionally provocative.

Manuel Alejandro Bojorquez Segovia places pine tar and African marigold at the heart, creating a resinous smoke that cuts through the sweetness of the peach and plum. The floral side is not delicate here. Carnation and blue lotus sit atop mahogany and cedar, lending a dry, dusty wood character to the humid air of the fragrance.

The base settles into a deep, balsamic warmth where olive and myrrh meet copal and incense. You can smell the palo santo and sandalwood grounding the animalic musk and vanilla, turning the initial fruit chaos into a dark, powdery ritual. It is a thick, amber-heavy atmosphere that wraps around the wearer like a heavy cloak.

Imagine standing in a dense, humid orchard at the height of a heatwave, where the overripe fruit falls onto ancient stone floors slicked with resin and burning wood. The air is thick, sweet, and wild. Akira is a bold, unapologetic scent that captures that specific, heavy moment.
